Viva Success

We are delighted to announce that project PhD student David De Concilio successfully defended his thesis ‘Via Brocardica. The Development of Brocards and the Western European Legal Tradition (c.1160 – c.1215)’ before a committee of Professor Caroline Humfress, Professor Diego Quaglioni, Professor Sara Menzinger, and Dr Danica Summerlin. His viva was a joint examination on account of his co-tutelle degree between the University of St Andrews and Roma Tre University, with the examining committee recommending the approval of his thesis and the awarding of his PhD without corrections.
