Project PhD student, Dan Armstrong, recently took part in the St Andrews University Public Engagement initiative ‘Ask Me Anything (AMA)’ on the topic of ‘Medieval History’. Dan fielded answers to three questions from members of the public, addressing the accuracy of the portrayal of medieval feasts on TV and film, the most common misconceptions about the Middle Ages, and what learning about the Middle Ages can teach us about today. Watch his answers below, which feature Game of Thrones, Jay-Z, and Magna Carta among other things.
